Critter Rescue
We take in animals that are no longer wanted and find them new homes.  We can only do this as cage/house/kennel space and time allows.  If you have or know someone who has an unwanted bunny, poodle or small other-breed dog, feel free to contact me to see if I have room to house it.

Dog Rescue
We have worked with dog rescue since 2003.  Started out working with Anatolian Shepherd Dogs then added Poodles to those I rescue.  See the links below for the rescue groups we work with and dogs I'm fostering that are looking for homes.
ADOPTED!!
Mandy,
Standard Poodle
Approx 5yrs old

Mandy is in her new home in Georgia.
Thanks Joe and Linda for giving her such a wonderful forever home!
What a good boy!  Housebroke, walks on leash, listens to voice commands(mostly), LOVES to go for rides.  Likes everyone but seems a little partial to men.  Gets along with dogs of all sizes, ignores cats.
Chester is a laid back boy, not at all hyper though will run and play with the other dogs.  He's a good rat hunter as he's proven in my rabbit shed which is now rat free  :)  He doesn't bother my pygmy goats and is leaving the chickens alone.
Heartworm negative, neutered, very healthy with a nice shiny coat.  Has a few broken teeth on one side which will need removed.  All other teeth are clean and in good condition.  Has had annual vaccines.
Chester sharing his bed with Boo the Toy Fox Terrier, and Paris the Toy Poodle.
Chester
Beagle/Rat Terrier mix.  Approx 6-8 yrs old says the vet so don't let his grey hair fool you, he's barely midde-age!
Chester is versatile boy who would be happy with ciry or country living.  He rarely barks even when all the other dogs here are barking.
A HAPPY DOG'S BEDTIME PRAYER
Now I lay me down to sleep,
The queen-size bed is soft and deep.
I sleep right in the center groove,
My human being can hardly move.

I've trapped her legs, she's tucked in tight,
and here is where I pass the night.
No one disturbs or dares intrude,
Til morning comes and I want food.

I sneak up slowly...it begins,
Nibbles on my human's chin.
she wakes up slowly, smiles and shouts,
"You darling beast!  Just cut it out!"

But morning's here, its time to play,
I always seem to get my way.
So thank you for giving me,
this human person that I see
The one who holds me oh so tight
and shares her bed with me at night!
